Just a quick announcement to let you guys know that my merch stores are offering discounts for a very limited time, so if you’ve been wondering whether to get yourself a t-shirt, hoodie, mug or tote bag (among other options), this is a pretty good time to do it!
This is becoming a bit of A Thing on the blog, but just in case you didn’t know, every so often, I like to cover a mini series as a bonus on Patreon, with the notes for the first 3 episodes made available to everyone, and here’s the announcement for the next bonus show I’ll be covering!
Well, time has flown by, and while our Nirvana in Fire group watch is still on-going (so rich, and so meaty! Do join us, if you can!), we have now completed our group watch of the very breezy and very fun My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.
..Which means it’s time to announce the start of our Kill Me, Heal Me group watch, which was the second Editor’s Choice pick that I made. Here are all the details you might need!
You guys might remember that a couple of months ago, I announced episode notes for Scripting Your Destiny for my patrons on Patreon, with the notes for the first 3 episodes made available to everyone.
Well, that was pretty fun, I thought, so when Mad For Each Other showed up, and enjoyed so much positive buzz among you guys, I thought I’d do it again! 😃
As you can tell from this post’s title, I’ve switched to a new commenting system for the blog, and I’m hopeful that this will make conversations on the blog a lot more fun to navigate!
Also, this feels timely, since a number of you let me know that the edit button for comments has stopped appearing for you. Not to worry, my friends! This new commenting system has a built-in editing feature, so you’ll be able to edit your comments for up to 15 minutes after posting them, just like the previous one.
The new commenting system is fairly easy to navigate instinctively, but I thought I’d highlight a couple of things, just to make it even easier for everyone.
I thought I’d write a quick post just to keep you guys up to date on what’s going on with the site looking a bit different, all of a sudden.
As you’ve probably gathered, I’m trying out a new ad network, and I thought I’d let you guys know a little more about that, instead of just expecting you all to read my mind, heh. 😅
First of all, thank you so much to every one of you who has been supporting me and this blog via Paypal and Patreon, it really helps me out. I am deeply grateful that you enjoy my work enough, and believe in me enough, to support the blog financially. I feel the love, truly. ❤️
For those of you who might not know this, the pandemic has put my work on hold indefinitely, and I’m now blogging full time and trying to make this into a viable income source, if possible. Ad revenue works out to be not very much, so your support via Paypal and Patreon plays a huge part in helping to keep this blog going.
This is my 9th month now, on Patreon, and today I realized that I needed to make a key change to my Patreon settings, which is why I’m writing this post, so that I can tell you about it.
Essentially, it’s been on my mind, to improve the Patreon experience for all of you, and in line with that, I’ve just updated the Tier benefits. I’m excited to share the changes I’ve made to the Tier benefits, and I’m hopeful that this will make the Patreon experience funner and richer for everyone!
Y’know, I just love it when the blog evolves because of you guys. ❤️
I started this blog mostly for reviews, and then added the k-love section, and the occasional Musings post.
But mostly everything else is a result of suggestions and requests from you guys. Pure Pretty, Dream Dramas, and Dear kfangurl posts, would’ve never been born on this blog if you guys hadn’t asked for and contributed to them.
And now, here’s another new thing that we’ve not had on the blog before: a group watch, with open thread discussions to go with! Exciting! 😃 Lemme tell you guys all about it, so that you can decide whether you’d like to join in the fun!
Today I just wanted to bring a few updates to your attention, just to make sure everyone’s on the same page. 🙂
I also wanted to say, phl recently mentioned to me that the blog’s become a lot livelier this year, and I totally agree. It’s really so great to see you guys enjoy hanging out on the blog, and chatting with one another. It makes me feel such a sense of community here, and that wouldn’t be possible without you guys. Thanks for being here!! 🥰
