The blog is 10 years old today! TENNN! 😱🤯 That’s literally multiple lifetimes, in blogging years?
The reason I say that, is because when I started blogging, common wisdom was that most blogs didn’t last past the one year mark. And so, if a blog lasted more than a year, then it had a chance of actually having a more lasting presence.
It’s blows my mind, that 10 years ago, I started this blog, ON A WHIM(!), just to see what it was like to have a drama blog, and 10 years later, here I am, and here we are. Wow. 🤯
I feel like I ought to say something extra wise and momentous, to mark the occasion, but.. I’m not sure I’ve got anything wise or momentous enough, to say. 😅
But, let’s see what I manage to rustle up, anyway. 😁
As promised, I’ve made a decision based on everyone’s input.
For the curious, I didn’t just take into account folks’ indication of interest (ie, how many people said they would be interested in watching this show).
I actually put more emphasis on what you guys expressed, in terms of your mood and genre preferences, and taking all that into account, it seems to me that The Princess’s Man (first floated by Trent – thanks Trent!) would be a good choice that would appeal to most.
I’ll talk a bit more about why this seems like an all-around good pick, but first, here are the various details that you might need!
As I type this, it’s been almost 2 years since we started having group watches on this site, and since our Chuno group watch started in November 2020(!), we basically haven’t had a break from group watches.
With the participation rate appearing to drop in the last couple of group watches (for both Wednesdays and Saturdays), I’m wondering if it’s time to recalibrate.
Since this is a space that you guys have helped to build with your suggestions and opinions, I thought the natural thing to do, would be to ask you guys what you think. 😃
Well, time has flown by, and while our Healer group watch is still on-going (so cracky, even on a third watch! Do join us, if you can!), we have now completed our group watch of the very twisty yet very heartfelt Signal.
..Which means it’s time to announce the start of our Queen In-hyun’s Man group watch, which was the second Editor’s Choice pick that I made.
