Basically, Yaya mentioned on Patreon, how she was thinking of watching The Red Sleeve, and some other folks replied saying that they hadn’t watched it yet either, and I thought, “Well, I’ve always said that I wanted to rewatch that; maybe let’s make a group watch out of it?”
I asked everyone Patreon if this was a good idea, a good number of you said you were up for this, and so, here we are, and here are all the details that you all might want or need!

Basically, after lots of persistent gentle lobbying by lovely folks like Ele and JJ, I finally bit the bullet and said “yes” to their request of having a group watch of c-drama Love Like The Galaxy, here on the blog.

You know how sometimes, certain moments seem to coming looking for you, instead of the other way around?

WELL. It honestly feels like this next group watch, which I’m announcing here in this post, is something that came looking for me, instead of the other way around.
It feels like FATE, you guys. Which, y’know, is PERFECT, because Winter Sonata is ALL about Fate – well, Fated Love – too, heh.

As promised, I’ve made a decision based on everyone’s input.
For the curious, I didn’t just take into account folks’ indication of interest (ie, how many people said they would be interested in watching this show).
I actually put more emphasis on what you guys expressed, in terms of your mood and genre preferences, and taking all that into account, it seems to me that The Princess’s Man (first floated by Trent – thanks Trent!) would be a good choice that would appeal to most.
I’ll talk a bit more about why this seems like an all-around good pick, but first, here are the various details that you might need!

Basically, we will have only one group watch at a time, instead of two, and we will decide via discussion, with me making a final decision, rather than via a poll.

Aside from the results of the poll itself, I’ve also been paying close attention to the opinions and perspectives you guys shared in the comments.
Taking everything into account, it felt like an appropriate time to overhaul my entire blogging and Patreon approach and schedule, and today, I think it’s time to let y’all know what I have in mind. 😇

As I type this, it’s been almost 2 years since we started having group watches on this site, and since our Chuno group watch started in November 2020(!), we basically haven’t had a break from group watches.
With the participation rate appearing to drop in the last couple of group watches (for both Wednesdays and Saturdays), I’m wondering if it’s time to recalibrate.
Since this is a space that you guys have helped to build with your suggestions and opinions, I thought the natural thing to do, would be to ask you guys what you think. 😃

Well, time has flown by, and we’re now done with our Queen In-hyun’s Man group watch!
