Time really flies; we are already getting ready to wrap up our group watches of Stranger (Secret Forest) and Secret Love Affair!

If you recall, we’d mapped out the group watches which would replace this current cycle, back when I’d first run the poll. Now, it’s time to get into gear, for our group watches of My Mister and Someday or One Day, starting next week!
Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll; 552 votes were cast by 289 voters, and Stranger / Secret Forest came out on top, with 119 votes! Looks like I will finally watch Stranger, after putting it off for so long, heh.
At the same time, some of you have let me know that the poll results were showing inaccurately for you, in terms of the shows that you voted for. I do want to make sure that the group watch features shows that you guys actually want to watch, so I’ve taken the various opinions raised in the comments into consideration, in mapping out a solution that I hope will satisfy most voters.
I did also promise Ele, that I’d use my Editor’s Choice to balance things out, if our winning show doesn’t feature a romance, because it’s true that we’re due for some romance, in our group watch.
I really hope you guys like the solution that I’ve come up with.

Well, time has flown by, and while our Nirvana in Fire group watch is still on-going (so rich, and so meaty! Do join us, if you can!), we have now completed our group watch of the very breezy and very fun My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.
..Which means it’s time to announce the start of our Kill Me, Heal Me group watch, which was the second Editor’s Choice pick that I made. Here are all the details you might need!

As you can tell from the collage, I’ve chosen My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and Kill Me, Heal Me for our Editor’s Choice group watches. As a matter of interest, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho came in second in the poll, with 83 votes, while Kill Me, Heal Me came in fourth, with 72 votes.
Our Dr. Romantic and Money Flower group watches are almost over – gosh, time flies, doesn’t it?!?

First of all, my sincere apologies to any of you who might have been saving your votes for the final day of voting; the poll closed earlier than I intended (at the beginning of 23 February, rather than at the end of 23 February), oops! 🤭 This is my first time using this poll plug-in, so I didn’t realize that that’s how the settings work. When I realized my mistake and tried to extend the poll, I found that I couldn’t. My bad, guys. I promise it won’t happen again! 😅
Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll; Dr. Romantic came out on top, with 136 votes, woot! In second place, While You Were Sleeping came in with 126 votes.
At the same time, while all the voting was going on, my fangirl heart was seriously swayed by all the effusive love for Jang Hyuk that was being poured out on the final Chuno Open Thread – and I couldn’t help but want to rewatch Money Flower, even though it was clearly not going to win the poll.
So.. we will be having not one, but TWO group watches on the site! Surprise..? 😉

Lots of worthy titles were floated, and as promised, I sifted through all of them, and shortlisted the most popular titles for this poll.
Thanks, too, for your consideration, in worrying that the show picked might not tickle my fancy. I’m happy to say that this shortlist is made up of shows that I have watched and loved, as well as shows that I’m duly curious to check out. What this means is that whichever drama we end up watching, I do plan to provide episode notes for it. Woot! 🤗
