Patreon Year End Awards: Ele’s Year In Dramas 2025!

My friends!

It’s that time of year again — when we take a deep breath, look back on our 2025 drama adventures, and realize… wow, we really did have a lot of feelings™. 😂

Welcome to this year’s End-of-Year Patreon Awards! This tradition began years ago with a casual suggestion in our chat corner, and it’s since grown into one of the warmest, most spirited things we do together. 🥲

Each entry is written by a member of our lovely Patreon community, sharing their drama year in their own voice — with heart, humor, honesty, and plenty of feels.

If you missed our earlier posts, you can check them out as follows: Natalia, Kumari.

Today, Ele is sharing her drama year – and if you know Ele at all, you probably wouldn’t be surprised in the least, that her drama year was largely centered around her one and only Liu Yu Ning! 🤭

I giggled a lot, reading this piece about her year in Liu Yu Ning, and I’m pretty sure you all would have fun with it too! 😁

If you like Ele’s style and want to know what she thought about dramas last year, you can check out her post here!

I hope you guys enjoy!

Patreon Year End Awards: Ele’s Year In Dramas 2024!

It’s officially EOY season, which is when we look back on our drama years, and decide which dramas were worthy of our love, and which dramas we maybe shouldn’t have spent as much time on, as we did. 😁

As before, we’ll be seeing up to 2 guest posts per week, and this will unfold into January 2025, and my annual year-in-review will come out in early 2025, after all the guest posts have been published.

This way, by putting all our experiences together, we get a more wholistic view of Dramaland in 2024. Pretty great, yes? 🤩

If you missed our earlier posts, you can check it out here: Sean, Deni+JJ, Natalia.

Today, I’m pleased to announce that Ele’s sharing her drama year!

The more I get to know Ele, the more I’m convinced that she has a very creative mind as well as a very passionate heart, and is very talented in expressing it all.

If you enjoyed our recent Dream Drama Dark, on which Ele and j3ffc worked together, I think you’d get an extra kick out of Ele’s post this year. 😁

Dream Drama Crossover: Dark

You guys. I am completely blown away by this Dream Drama that j3ffc has written, with the help of his lovely editor, Ele!

They’ve both poured a whole lotta time, effort, passion, dedication and love into this project, over a really long time, and the end product is nothing short of brilliant. 🤩

If you like kdramas; if you like Buffy; if you like a well-told story – if you answered ‘yes’ to even just one of those things, I think you’d like this.

Do look out for all the fun references and cameos; our dynamic duo has made sure that there are a good number, for kdrama fans, and for Buffy fans. And of course, there’s twice the fun to be had, if you’re both. 😉

Also! Do look out for the music, with some tracks performed by j3ffc himself! (Yes, he went and made sure this Dream Drama has a soundtrack! 😱)

Please enjoy!

Patreon Year End Awards: Ele’s Year In Dramas 2023!

My friends!

It’s that time of the year again, when we look back on our drama years, and decide which dramas were worthy of our love, and which dramas we ought to think about putting in that application to get our drama hours back, heh. 😁

It’s become a bit of a tradition by now, with quite a few folks on Patreon actively thinking about these year-end posts, even before I announced that we were doing this again. How cool is that? 🤩

Like last year, we’ll be taking things in a more relaxed direction this year, so that we don’t all get stressed out from this (and so that I can attempt to stay on top of my Patreon schedule, at the same time 😅).

Again, like last year, we’ll be seeing about 2 guest posts per week, and this will unfold into January 2024, and that’s perfectly ok.

AND, my annual year-in-review, which used to come out in December, will again, like last year, come out in January (or thereabouts 😅), after all the guest posts have been published.

Ele is kicking us off this year (thank you, Ele! ❤️).

Not only did Ele make time to write this post despite being a busy artist who also cares for her grandson (Ele’s a very young grandmom!), she volunteered for the first slot available on the schedule I released – talk about being feisty and dauntless! 😉

If you’d like to read more of Ele’s writing, you can check out her other brilliant post, where she talks about fangirling, Jane Austen style, here!

I hope you guys enjoy!

All About Love Stories: By Ele!

In case you missed it, we have yet another guest post series to enjoy, this month!

Unlike our previous guest post series, this one was kind of an accident, almost. I have Ele to thank for this one, because it was her innocent question about something, that made me casually talk about the off-the-top-of-my-head, hypothetical possibility of a guest post series on love, in the month of February, in honor of Valentine’s Day.

So many folks on Patreon responded enthusiastically to this idea, that I felt that it would be remiss of me, not to actually make it happen, come February.

And so, here we are. This month, we will enjoy a total of nine guest posts from patrons on Patreon, on the topic of love stories. The brief is pretty flexible, in that, each writer is free to go deep, or go wide, on anything around the topic of love stories in Dramaland. I feel like we have a lot to look forward to, this month! 🥰
