Dropped: The Secret Message

I’m beginning to think that my fangirl love isn’t a very resilient thing, heh.

I had every intention of finishing web drama The Secret Message. To begin with, I didn’t expect very much from it, and therefore, to finish watching it seemed like a reasonable goal in my head; easy, even.

I mean, we’re talking short little 15-minute episodes, which the teasers all indicated would be prettily shot, featuring the very handsome TOP in a cute romance. What could possibly be hard about that, right?

Flash Review: 71: Into the Fire [Movie]

War movies are not my kind of thing, to be honest.

I don’t like war; I don’t like all the killing and dying and violence; I’m not even that interested in politics, if we’re being brutally honest.

Despite all that, though, I have to say that with this movie, I was riveted. And I mean completely and utterly riveted. From beginning to end, I couldn’t tear my eyes away from my screen.

And now that the credits have stopped rolling, I can’t stop thinking about it either.

Pocketful of Sunshine!

Good mornin’, Sunshine!

You might’ve seen the Sunshine Award making its rounds in the k-blogosphere lately. Well, today it’s my turn to join the sunshiny fun!

But first of all, let’s get some context. (You guys know how much I love my context!)

I did a bit of poking around, and found that the Sunshine Award is given to bloggers who “positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere.”

D’aw~ That’s so nice, isn’t it?

Thanks to Snow of The Drama Corner for nominating me as a positive inspiration!

Now, let’s get down to business, shall we?

Pure Pretty: Kim Kang Woo

So recently, I’ve been watching Haeundae Lovers (2012). While the drama itself is a mixed bag with some gaping flaws, I have to give credit where it’s due. This show has reminded me all over again, just how pretty Kim Kang Woo is.

Before, I’d seen Kim Kang Woo in 2009’s Story of a Man (aka The Slingshot), a show which I didn’t end up loving, unlike everyone else. Back then, I’d noted the Kim Kang Woo pretty, but didn’t think to seek him out afterwards and he quietly slipped off my radar.

Fast forward to 2014, when I decided on a whim to check out Haeundae Lovers. When Kim Kang Woo sauntered onto my screen, I hafta admit, one of my first thoughts was, “Oooh.. Prettyyy~”

And that just inspired me to, er, extend the appreciation with this post. 😉

Come gaze with me, y’all.

Pure Pretty: TOP

I’m on a roll, you guys.

After rolling out my first Pure Pretty post on Song Seung Hun, I was just going to do a little bit of preliminary searching in preparation for my second Pure Pretty post, and got completely and utterly sucked in. There was just too much TOP goodness to gaze at. I couldn’t stop.

Let me state upfront that just because I’ve picked TOP to be part of the Pure Pretty series, doesn’t mean that I don’t think he’s talented.

It’s just that I don’t really follow his music – I’m not much into kpop to begin with – and therefore don’t have a lot to say about his personality or his music. I do think he owns the stage when he’s rapping, and it – HE – is hot.

I’ve seen TOP act, though. I first saw him in Iris and immediately decided that he looked very interesting. And handsome. And hot. Heh. Though I didn’t think he was so great at the acting, to be honest.

Recently, though, I watched him in The Commitment, and he’s gotten so much better! Which bodes well for me. I love TOP’s speaking voice. And TOP in motion on my screen. Mmmm.

In the meantime, though, let me just say that as I did research for this post, I’ve come to the conclusion that TOP is insanely beautiful. SERIOUSLY. INSANELY. BEAUTIFUL.

There just doesn’t seem to be a way to take an ugly picture of this guy. Really.

Head Over Heels for: Kim Woo Bin

Many of you already know all about my fangirl love for Gong Yoo, and my pretty robust crush on Jang Hyuk. Those were the two big k-loves in my k-life for quite a nice long while, both of them occupying a sizable chunk of my fangirl heart and my fangirl mind.

And then one day – like a bolt out of the blue – Kim Woo Bin came and snuck up on me and now I’m officially head over heels in love with Woobie. ❤ I didn’t even see it coming, to be honest (sneaky Woobie).

So today I’m gonna tell y’all ALL about how I fell in love with Woobie.. Come squee, ogle & swoon with me!
